British Sea Power
Alt & Indie, Post Rock

Formed in 2000 in Brighton, British Sea Power are a British indie band. Highly influenced by seminal post-punk bands Joy Division, Echo & the Bunnymen and the Smiths, the group was originally known as 'British Air Power'. They released their humourously titled debut the Decline of British Sea Power in 2003. The follow-up came in early 2005 in the form of Open Season.
