Body Count
Thrash, Hardcore

Ice-T teamed up with former Crenshaw High classmates Ernie C, Mooseman, Beatmaster V and D-Roc to form the hardcore band Body Count in 1990. The group's debut album was extremely controversial, due to the inclusion of "Cop Killer", an attack on police brutality. When the controversy eclipsed the album's musical merits, Ice-T removed the track from the album. Body Count has since released three more albums, "Born Dead", "Violent Demise: The Last Days", and "Murder 4 Hire".
