Blues rock giants Jeff Beck, Tim Bogert, and Carmine Appice joined together officially on July 24, 1972, after the dissolution
of Beck's previousJeff BeckGroup. Hailing from both Cactus and Vanilla Fudge, Bogert and Appice recorded a single LP with
Beck and broke apart before a secondalbum could bereleased, and the trio moved on to their own projects.
