Amalunga is a one-man bedroom project that officially began its ongoing activity in 2019 since the publication of the track "Nothing". Inspired by underrated ambient artists, as well as renowned post-rock and shoegaze bands, he began working on his own music. Therewith, film composers, in particular the works of John Murphy, had a certain influence on his compositions. His tracks can be characterized as a mixture of atmospheric ambient and melancholic post-rock, later with the elements of post-metal. As a huge fan of bands such as Radiohead and Mogwai, he strives to excel in different and experimental sounds in each of tracks without being limited to genres.
