In an outstanding attempt to overcome the shadow of Creed, the newly-formed band decided that they would go with a less mainstream
tune but with a more of an artistic sound: soaring vocals, brooding guitar riffs, screaming guitar solos, and a great rhythm section. Alter
Bridge's music is co-written by Kennedy and Tremonti and arranged by Alter Bridge and the band's lyrics are written primarily by Kennedy,
although Tremonti wrote most of the lyrics and all of the music on their debut album.
The band has released three studio albums so far: One Day Remains in 2004, Blackbird in 2007, and AB III in 2010. A live
DVD, Live from Amsterdam, is also released in early 2011.
