Chavo (Ron Reyes) was in Black Flag for a very short time, but he is featured with Black Flag in the film The Decline of Western Civilization. After Chavo was gone the group picked up Dez Cadena. Dez stuck with the group until 81, when he decided he wanted to play rhythm guitar rather than sing. That is considered the end to the classic Black Flag era. Rollins joined, and they did the classic album Damaged which would become a punk and hardcore classic. They went on to record My War, Slip It In, Family Man, Loose Nut, and In My Head. Black Flag are essential for punk and hardcore fans. They did everything their way, and they got fucked by record companies because of it. - Douche Bag « hide
