Carcass has done just that, and their music is nothing less than legendary. Ever since 1985 Carcass had been creating gutteral, disgusting, brutal grind with more than enough gore. Albums such as Symphonies of Sickness and Reek of Putrefaction rightfully earned the title of essential goregrind albums.

More than a mark was made by them in metal when they disbanded in 1996.
