Sons Of Abraham was a straight-edge, Jewish hardcore group hailing from Long Island. The
band had a significant metal influence and also paved the way for many metalcore acts as well
as the venerated Glassjaw. Formed by Justin Beck and Todd Weinstock of Glassjaw, the band
released one album, Termites In His Smile, in 1997 before disbanding. The final line-up
consisted of Beck (guitar), Todd (guitar), Kneel Rubenstein (vocals), Stephen Linde (drums),
and Mitch Skalka (bass). Many of the riffs/song structures here were borrowed by Beck for
Glassjaw's debut, Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence.
