In This Moment is a young band out of North Hollywood, California. They play a style of metalcore that is based more around thrash metal than melodic death metal. They can set themselves out of the monotony of most metalcore becuase of thier use of interludes and better placed breakdowns, as well as frontwoman Maria Brinks superb vocals. With thier debut album A Beautiful Tragedy coming out in February, 2007 on Century Media, and their consistent work ethic, they are poised for success.
