Born from the ashes of early thrash/power metal band Sanctuary, Nevermore was formed by vocalist Warrel Dane, bassist Jim Sheppard, and guitarist Jeff Loomis. After releasing two full lengths and one EP, Nevermore released their most critically acclaimed album Dreaming Neon Black. The follow-up to this album, Dead Heart, In A Dead World was just as well received and marked the beginning of a new sound for Nevermore: the arrival of the seven-string guitar. Nevermore recorded two more albums, Enemies of Reality and This Godless Endeavor. The band is currently recording a new album.
