Helloween is a German power/speed metal band founded in 1983 by Kai Hansen(who would later form Gamma Ray), Michael Weikath, Marcus Grosskopf, and Ingo Schwitchtenberg. Credited as one of the main innovators of the power metal genre, Helloween is still strong over 20 years later. Despite frequent change in band members and a dip in popularity during the 90's, Helloween still maintains a loyal fan base.
