Made of Mikal Cronin on lead vocals and bass, Mootheart on drums, and Roland Casio on guitar (Both Cronin and Moonheart are members of the acclaimed Ty Segall Band, with Cronin on bass and Mootheart on guitar for Segall's touring act), they released a scattering of singles and ep's under the "Charlie & The Moonhearts" moniker before releasing their debut full length with a simultaneous drop of "Charlie & The", and the band is now simply "Moonhearts". Their debut has received rave reviews in the minimal attention it's received thus far. A band to certainly look out for though, as Cronin's buddy Ty Segall has witnessed, great songwriting mixed with an obsessive flare for the nostalgic does reap its rewards. « hide |
