Sacrilege B.C. were an American thrash metal band from Berkeley, California. Initially known simply as Sacrilege between 1984 and 1986, they added the B.C. to their name when they signed to their first label in order to avoid confusion with the British crust/thrash band Sacrilege from Birmingham (see: Sacrilege (UK1)). They disbanded in 1991 having released two studio albums.
