Their first album, which was self-titled, wasreleased in November 1991. Its single was"Phuncky Feel One," but it was the B-side
"How ICould Just Kill a Man" (formerly "Trigga HappyNigga") that attracted more airplay on urban radioand college radio. Based
on the success of thesingle and other tracks such as bilingual track"Latin Lingo" and X-rated Spanish track "Tres equis",the album

Latinos we thought it would be a goodidea to build in some of this latin jazz flavor."Rolling Stone Magazine named the band as
thebest rap group in their music awards voted bycritics and readers. Cypress Hill played atLollapalooza for two successive years
topping thebill in 1995. They appeared on an episode of "TheSimpsons" in which Homer, Bart and Lisa attendthe Lollapalooza-

Cypress Hill recorded "Just Another Victim" for theWWE as a theme song for Taz. At the time, theWWE was using original music
for almost all of thewrestlers, so this was an unusual step for thecompany to take, but it remains one of the morememorable
songs to emerge from the wrestlingorganization.

lead single "What's YourNumber". The track features Tim Armstrong ofRancid on bass and Rob Aston of The Transplantson
