Godsmack is a heavy metal band formed in Boston by Sully Erna (Vox), Tony Rambola (Guitars), Robbie Merrill (Bass) and Tommy Stwert (Drums). They are clearly heavily influenced by bands like Alice in Chains and Metallica. They have still managed to stay on the top of mainstream charts very well. There has been only one member change. Tommy left the band after only two albums. They then recruted drummer Shannon Larkin who was a great success.
