Feeder
Rock

Feeder are one of the music industires most amazing success stories. Originally consisting of Grant Nicholas,(guitar, vocals)Taka Hirose,(Bass) and Jon Lee (Drums), Feeder's music was a cross between fast, up-tempo, bouncy songs and slow, moddy, well thought out ballads.

Tragically, Feeder lost drummer Jon Lee in January 2002, when he committed suicide in his Miami home. Jon Lee's replacement was Mark Richardson (Formerly of Skunk Anansie). The loss of Jon changed Feeder's whole style, they're now known as a band who wear their heart on their sleeve when it comes to lyrics and their music is mellower than ever before. 2005's album 'Pushing The Senses' was even mellower but in the same year they also released the single 'Shatter', showing that they could still rock. 2006 saw a Singles collection and in 2008 a new album 'Silent Cry' was released, their last on the doomed Echo label. This record saw the band return to their roots as well as hinting at new directions and influences. Another album is currently being written and could be released as early as 2009, one thing that is for certain however, is that Feeder have one of the most loyal fan bases in rock today...and they love their fans almost as much as the fans love them. « hide
