Formed in 1966, Cream took psychedelic music to a level never heard before, keeping the trippy appeal of the Beatles and combining it with virtuoso playing by all the groups' members. Considered the first power trio, Cream boasted three of the finest players of the time with Eric Clapton (Guitar/Vocals), Jack Bruce(Bass/Vocals) and Ginger Baker (Drums/Percussion/Vocals).
