After parting ways with such bands as Memphis May Fire and In Fair Verona, Austin Radford and Alex Balash insisted that the next band they took part in would be “something they totally believed in”. Enter American Mantra. Balash’s intricate guitar work and the infectious melodies brought to you by Radford and guitarist/vocalist Joseph Veazie, partnered with the solid grooves of drummer Wesley Brown and bassist Dustin Beck, make for an intriguing combination.
They released three EPs, “Foreign” in 2009, "Schema Sessions" in 2010 and ''Aphasianado in 2011.
