‘On Escalators’ is a solo project of college student and multi-instrumentalist Alex Previty. He has been in various
musical groups
throughout his childhood and has recently felt himself as a musical outcast. Now on his own, he is able to express
himself entirely
through his solo project. Being completely instrumental, the music focuses on the simple complexities of clean
weaving guitars, bright
basslines and busy drums that never seem to rest. The music ranges from ambient and pulsing post-rock to
quick and aggresive
melodic moments. This will appeal to fans of Meet Me in St. Louis, Enemies, youmetheswitch and Native.
