Hades

Hades are a thrash/power metal band. They disbanded in the late 80's and reformed in the late 90's. While the music is good, sounding much like a combination of Sanctuary and Testament, it suffers from sounding the same. Vocalist Alan Tecchio has been involved with a few other bands during his career, but he seems most at home here, giving us more range and depth. Drummer Ron Lipnicki was battling cancer, but seems to have pulled through. According to the website, he replaced Tim Mallare in Overkill. With him gone and Tecchio fronting Seven Witches, it seems that the future of Hades is likely bleak. I guess we'll have to see
