Japandroids, a two-piece indie rock outfit from Vancouver, Canada, followed up their 2007 and 2008 EP releases of All Lies and Lullaby
Death Jams with their 2009 debut LP Post-Nothing, which garnered a lot of hype including a Best New Music tag from indie review
behemoths Pitchfork. They followed this with up two more LPs, Celebration Rock (2014) and Near to the Wild Heart of Life
(2017). The band consists of just one guitarist and one drummer who share vocal duties in creating what they themselves label garage rock.
