Schandmaul is German Medieval metal band from Munich. Much like other medieval acts from Germany, or anywhere else for that matter, they combine the usage the of modern day instruments such as the common bass and guitar with medieval instruments such as bagpipes hurdy-gurdy, or shawn to produce their traditional "folk" roots.
