Sandy Denny (1947-1978) played in the Strawbs, Fairport Convention, and Fotheringay before starting a solo career. She appeared on "Led Zeppelin IV" duetting with Robert Plant on "Battle of Evermore".She was married to Trevor Lucas (Strawbs, Fotheringay) and died from a cerebral haemorrhage on April 21, 1978. She is considered as being one of the finest voices of the British folk.
