Earthbound Papas was formed by Nobuo Uematsu after he left The Black Mages. The band plays covers of video game music and their own
original songs as well. The band's lineup consists of Nobuo Uematsu (organ, keys), Michio Okamiya (guitar), Tsutomu Narita (keys, guitar),
Yoshitaka Hirota (bass), Arata Hanyuda (drums) and Chihiro Fujioka (drums).
