The duo had a short tour of the United States in early 2008, alongside label-mate Steve Aoki. In 2008, their song “Butter” was included on the soundtrack for FIFA 09, “Mac Mac” was featured in 2K Sports’ NBA 2K9 and their remix of “Black Gloves” by Goose is part of the soundtrack of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. As well as featuring on Hostage’s ‘Gluttony’ EP - along with Felix Cartal - The Bloody Beetroots have remixed tracks by Fox n’Wolf, Etienne De Crecy, The Toxic Avenger, Goose, and their own take on Michael Sembello’s ‘She’s a Maniac’. Most of their remixes are compiled in the album Best of… Remixes, published in 2011. Their first LP Romborama was released on August 25th, 2009. They have also released 3 EP’s; Rombo EP, Cornelius, and Warp (Feat. Steve Aoki) In 2005 after being friends and associated production whores with Mikah Freeman, Vance Musgrove & Ross McGrath started their digital label project, dubbed The Aston Shuffle. What started off as a group effort to get their previously unreleased tunes to the masses has skyrocketed into 2007 with the group heavily in demand for their white hot remixes – a little electro, a little techno, but all house. When the swing on their tunes hits the dance floor you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised how hard it is keep your body from going retarded. In 2008, Ross McGrath left the group to focus on other projects. Vance and Mikah have continued the group and since released a new single, “Stomp Yo Shoes”. « hide
