The Replacements are pioneers of Minnesota punk along with other hometown heroes such as Husker Du. The band existed between1979 and 1991. Bassist Tommy Stinson was just 12 years old when the band first formed. His brother Bob was also a member ofthe band as a guitarist until 1985 when they released their third album Tim and he died in 1995.
