Yo-Yo

Yo-Yo is a female emcee and entertainer from Los Angeles. She got her first big break in 1990, appearing on Ice Cube's breakthrough debut album "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted", and she later released her first full length album, "Make Way for the Motherlode", in 1991, which has since garnered numerous amounts of critical acclaim. Yo-Yo then appeared to have retired from the rap world in 1999, and then concentrated on acting, before returning in 2005 by appearing on singles from the posthumous Tupac Shakur, Mobb Deep, DJ Quik and Brooke Valentine. In 2009, Yo-Yo released "Give It T'um", which is her first original single since 1998, and she has since been said to have working on an album, although details have been quite sketchy since around 2013, roughly four years after it was first announced.
