W were a pop duo from Japan. Consisting of Ai Kago and Tsuji Nozomi of Morning Musume fame, this duo quickly rocketed to the top of the charts, and proved their popularity status to be far beyond relative. Things were going quite well for the duo, until they split in late 2006, due to Ai Kago's infamous smoking scandal.
