Brit-pop ensemble Viva Brother make classicist pop/rock that owes a heavy debt to such '90s acts as Blur and Oasis. Formed in Slough, Englandin the
late 2000s, the band original went under a few different names before settling on Viva Brother. Centered around lead singer/guitarist LeeNewell, the
band also features guitarist Sam Jackson, bassist Josh Ward, and drummer Frank Colucci. The band's Stephen Street-produceddebut album, Famous First
Words, was released on Geffen Records in August of 2011.
