Thrice is a progressive band from Irvine, California. Their largest appeal comes from mixing metal, hardcore, pop punk, and even some progressive rock into a unique amalgam that has since been copied endlessly by bands without the talent of Thrice. All self-proclaimed nerds, their music and lyrics are incredibly cerebral, drawing from the classical guitar training of Teppei, or Kensrue's love for philosophy by C.S. Lewis. All in all, Thrice is a layered, compelling listen.
