The Strokes are the voice of the current generation. Their lyrics cut straight to the souls of today's youth. All lyrics are written by the frontman Julian Casablancas (except Automatic Stop), son of modeling agent John Casablancas. All five meet them in a school for well-paid people. Their music has a sound of it's own; the guitar riff's are amazing alongside the catchy bass lines and unusual drum beats. The Strokes are an overall amazing band. Their live performances sound as if they were in the recording studio, serenading the anthem of their souls. The Strokes rock to the beat of their own drum.
