Florida-born but Nashville-based indie folk rock duo The Saint Johns was formed in 2008 after members Louis Johnson and Jordan Meredith met at mutual friend's party, and with the help of a guitar, began exchanging songs late into the following morning. Soon after, the two began touring and playing sets mostly at colleges for the next three years. While honing their sound, they garnered notice from MTV's "Buzzworthy Blog." In 2014, their song, "Your Head And Your Heart" was featured on the Independent Nashville music compilation Nashville Indie Spotlight. Open Water EP was released a year later. The group's first full-length LP, Dead Of Night hit retailers in March of 2016.
