The Flaming Sideburns started performing together in 1995, taking garage rock and adding an emphasis to the rock. Their influences are very obvious, and are bands like MC5, The Stooges, and The Nomads. The band made its recorded debut in 1997, with two singles. All of the band members except for the lead singer are from Sweden. The singer is from Spain.
