After Goldenvoice's Paul Tollett offered him adeal, he and Klinghoffer recorded The Bicycle Thief's debut LP You Come and Go Like a Pop Song, joined on the album byKevin Fitzgerald (Geraldine Fibbers). This was Klinghoffer's first recording experience and he contributed guitars, keyboards, andsome drums. You Come and Go Like a Pop Song remains their only studio album, though it was re-released with a modifiedtracklisting and artwork in 2001. After the band broke up in the early 2000s, Klinghoffer went on to work with John Frusciante (then-guitarist of RHCP) in his solowork and the band Ataxia, of which Fugazi's Joe Lally was also a member. Klinghoffer has toured with many bands (ie: GnarlsBarkley, RHCP, PJ Harvey, Beck) playing various instruments (drums, guitar, synthesisers, piano). He replaced Frusciante as RHCPguitarist in 2009 and also fronts the experimental rock band Dot Hacker. Forrest lives in Los Angeles and works as a drugcounsellor and part time radio host. The pair have tentative plans to work on new material later in 2013, though nothing has been confirmed as yet. « hide
