1. The Attraction - Phoenix, AZ
The Attraction is a five piece alternative rock band from Phoenix, AZ. Their origins can be traced to the early side project of frontwoman Lindsey Vogt, The Taro Sound. Vogt recorded two songs while operating under the moniker of TTS. One song, “Change of Mind” was later declared a song by The Attraction early after their formation in Spring, 2009.

The Attraction is a five piece alternative rock band from Phoenix, AZ. Their origins can be traced to the early side project of frontwoman Lindsey Vogt, The Taro Sound. Vogt recorded two songs while operating under the moniker of TTS. One song, “Change of Mind” was later declared a song by The Attraction early after their formation in Spring, 2009.
The band focused much of 2009 towards writing and recording professional-quality demos (Take A Breath, Belong, Love Spell, Fallin’) while touring in between studio time. In 2010, the band performed many shows at the venue, The Clubhouse—sharing the stage with Cute Is What We Aim For, Anarbor, Reece, Crash Coordinates, the Friday Night Boys and several more. In 2010 the band also devoted much time in preparation for releasing their then soon-to-be-released EP, The Sleepless. Before releasing their EP, vocalist Lindsey Vogt was replaced with newcomer Dara McLean. The announcement was made a month before the EP’s release. Due to financial and time constraints, the band did not re-record vocals with Dara for the EP. However, Dara fronted the band for the CD release show on May 28th, 2011 at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ.
