During their peak era, the original line-up were able to record themselves on various occasions. Only 10 of these recordings managed to be salvaged by their (current) promoter, and former guitarist, Jared Rowbotham. These 10 recordings eventually (in 2002) made 3 different releases - "Live at the Southern Blues Bar" (recorded live on 17 April 1998), "Brotown Sessions" (their only studio recording), and "The Collection" (a compilation of the previous 2 releases and 3 extra tracks).
The band saw its demise in late 1999, after a slow and painful collapse as early as September/October 1998. However, a decade after the band formed, Jared and Supertrip's former vocalist, Stephen Armstrong, reformed to record new versions of their old songs. Only 2 were completed. These tracks plus the best of the leftovers lead to their final release in 2009 - "Encore". Before this EP was even released, Supertrip had disbanded for the last time. « hide |
