Rotting formed in the early 90s as a group of high school kids jamming; releasing a few demos and full-length cassette tapes / albums. Eventually the band developed into seasoned brutal death metal players and caught the eye of Rich Lipscomb of Fleshgrind (aka United Guttural label-head).The band launched into underground stardom with 1998's full-length release "Crushed" and hit the Milwaukee Metalfest and Ohio Deathfest stages.
