Popcatcher was an alternative rock band from Japan that first formed in 1997. Originally a side-project of the some of the
members from Reach, Popcatcher had a strong underground following for their melodious sound which had slight pop punk
overtones. The group went on to release a few singles, three mini-albums and one full album, 2001's "Poikilotherms", but
eventually ended up disbanding in 2002.
