NTRL, formally known as Netral, is a popular pop punk band from Indonesia. First formed in 1991, the group had strong
popularity throughout the 90s and the first half of the 2000’s, before their success started waning by 2005, during which the
band began experimenting with more alternative influences. In 2009, however, the group experienced a sudden surge in
popularity, and Netral proceeded to contribute the main theme song for the hit film Garuda di Dadaku that year. In 2015, after
14 years as Netral, the group announced it changed its name to NTRL. That year, the group released their first album as NTRL,
“11/12”, which ended up being their best-selling release in years.
