Melodius Deite formed in 2007 in Thailand Bangkok and still active, is a band that combines the sweeping orchestral arrangements of Angra and Rhapsody of Fire with the progressive song structure of Dream Theater. A quick glance at the album art, the track length (averaging around 8 minutes), and the song titles reveal a band with tremendous ambition. Fortunately, their second album demonstrates that they have the musicianship and songwriting prowess required to convincingly present their grandiose musical vision.
