Malachai are a two-piece band from Bristol, England. They were renamed Malachai in 2010 from the previous spelling Malakai after the band
discovered that the name Malikai was already owned by an American rap artist. They comprise of Gee (vocals) and DJ Scott Hendy (music).
Their sound is a mix of beats and samples, drawing on a wide range of influences from dub to 1960s pop, all tied together by Gee's distinctive

To date, they have already released two full-length albums in two years time, Ugly Side of Love (2010) and Return to the Ugly Side (2011).
