Makoto Kubota and the Sunset Gang was a Japanese rock band that first formed in 1971. The group went on to release a few
singles and six albums before disbanding in 1981. Most of the members then went on to immediately afterwards form Sunsetz,
which later became Sandii and the Sunsetz.
