Loon was a rapper, born and raised in Harlem, NYC. Getting his initial start as a member of the short lived group, Harlem World, Loon went solo once the group split in 2000. In October of 2003, he released his only majorly-released album, which was self-titled. The album was a success commercially, although he ended up leaving his initial label, Bad Boy Records, to start his own independent label, Boss Up Entertainment. He released two albums in 2006: "No Friends" and "Wizard of Harlem", but ended up getting arrested in 2008 for numerous drug charges. He was sentenced to an imprisonment of 14 years, and converted to Muslim in 2009, and soon ended up retiring from the rap scene.
