Lifter was a band from Silverlake, LA/CA that existed form 1992–1998. They are best known for their minor hit “402” and their bassist Jeffrey Sebelia, who has become known as the winner of Season 3 of Project Runaway in 2006. Their only album, Melinda (Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt), was released in April 1996.
