Hate Honey were a Japanese rock band that formed in 1996. The group initially followed a unique mixture of nu metal and
hardcore punk, but eventually lessened the metal influences for a more emo sound. The group initially split in 2000, but reformed
in 2002 to the delight of the group's cult fanbase. Although the group never hit it big, they always had a huge following in the
independent scene. The group split for good in 2006.
