Gaunt was a punk rock band from Columbus, Ohio that formed in 1991. The band released four independent albums before signing to Warner Bros. Records and releasing their major label debut, Bricks and Blackouts, in 1998 before splitting up the same year due to the aforementioned album's poor performance. In 2001, the band's singer/guitarist Jerry Wick was killed after being run over by a drunk driver while cycling home.
