Gangsta P was a rapper from Oakland, California. He was a close friend and frequent collaborator of fellow Oakland emcee,Seagram. In July of 1996,
Seagram was killed in a drive-by shooting while trying to shield and protect Gangsta P. Gangsta Preceived multiple wounds, but ultimately lived. He
seemed to have completely disappeared from the rap scene after theshooting. In May of 2012, Gangsta P was murdered by the Vallejo police
department after an altercation. He was 41 years old.
