Formed in June 06, Flaunted Areas are begin to take musical shape. In not being very old it is difficult to write about them. Formed after a decison by guitarist Henry to make a side project to his current band. Knowing of Martin (Minty's) abilities to drum he decided to ask this pleasent chap aboard. To find a bassist being the next objective, knowing of a studious young fellow in his media class, Richard or Rich to his friends was called aboard. Singers are always a bitch to find, and taking what some may call a gamble. Jim was asked to do the honours, having never met him in person or heard his voice. Was possibly not the best strategy but everyone played along and things turned out for the good. With some catchy guitar lines with steady drums and bass with a splash of angelic vocals Flaunted Areas are going somewhere..... And having played a few shows and recorded their first EP Flaunted Areas have parted ways with their drummer Martin. We all wish him the best musically for the future. But with the new addition of Antwon hopefully Flaunted Areas can progress even more rapidly than they have been. « hide
