Bondage Fruit are a band from Japan formed in 1990, which plays a mixture of zeuhl-inspired progressive rock and avant-gardeorimprovisational
music. Their sound has been compared to artists such as Magma, Mahavishnu Orchestra, UniversZeroandHappyFamily.
Their first album came out in 1994, and up to 2005 they released four more studio albums and a live set, along witha“bestof”released in 1999. The
band’s line up consists of Kido Natsuki on guitar and synthesizer, Okabe Youichi ontrapdrumandpercussion, Ohtsubo Hirohiko on bass, Takara Kumiko
on vibraphone, percussion, and organ, and Katsui Yujionviolinandvocals.
