Bernard Fanning (born 15 August 1969) is an Australian musician best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Powderfinger. Fanning released a successful solo album in October 2005, called Tea and Sympathy which debuted at #1 on the Australian ARIA Albums chart. The lead single from this album is "Wish You Well" which is followed by the new single "Songbird", and final single "Watch Over Me".
On January 26, 2006 "Wish You Well" was voted in at #1 on Australian youth radio station Triple J's 2005 Hottest 100 poll, and Bernard was also the Winner of two 2006 ARIA Awards: Album of the Year and Best Male Artist.
